"if you surrendered to the air, you could ride it"
-Toni Morrison
I am a dedicated social scientist and survivor-advocate, committed to person and community centered solutions to multifaceted challenges. With years of experience in behavioral health, service provision, advocacy, and qualitative research, I apply survivor-generated strategies at the intersection of theory and practice.
My work focuses on anti-oppressive frameworks, structural violence, and harm-insulation. I believe we can translate knowledge and research into action—allowing us to leverage the inherent power of individuals, communities, and organizations to strategize for equity and healing.
Fueled by the resilience of the communities I serve, I channel my lived experience and expertise into collaborative, liberation-focused initiatives. I commit to supporting and amplifying community-led visions, because our collective freedom depends on shared objectives, solidarity, and care.
